I have come a long way with my health and fitness goals. So far in fact that I'm terrified of going back to how I was. This journal is to keep me accountable and motivated. I find that if I don't keep track of my eating and exercising, I gain weight slowly. This has been happening over the past few months and I'm up about 8lbs. No more of that!

I love to run. So much in fact that it has become quite the addiction. A year ago I couldn't even run a mile without stopping. Now I can run 6 at a 8:15 mile pace! Sometimes I just like to run fast and see how fast I can go. My best 2 mile time is 14:12 and I really want to see that number hit somewhere in the 13 minute range.
I lift weights. I love feeling strong and love seeing men at the gym look at me with admiration when they realize that yes, I can lift more than them sometimes. Muscles are sexy. I refuse to be one of those "runners" that are flabby and don't lift weights. I also love spinning, the stair climber, and occasionally I'm known to hop on the elliptical to switch things up. Nothing is worse than a boring old gym routine!

- Canadian girl, with an American man in the US Army, currently living overseas in South Korea but moving to Washington State in the summer
